On the Home Dashboard, tap on ‘Activate Card’ under ‘Do More with AmOnline’.

Log in to your account by filling in your password.

Type in your Card Number and press 'Continue'.

You will receive an acknowledgement that your card is found.

Enter in your new PIN to continue the process.

You will be directed to the AmSecure Authorisation page. Click on 'Authorisation' to continue card activation.

Once authorised, you will receive a successful notification and you will be directed to your debit card section of the app.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I participate and get the RM5 cashback?
All you will have to do is activate your new AmBank Visa Debit Card and spend a minimum of RM10 or more within promotion period form 17 July 2024 to 31 December 2024.
2. How do I know that I have participated in this campaign? Will there be any notification sent to me?

No notification will be sent to you regarding the campaign. As long as you have fulfilled the criteria stated in the Terms and Conditions, among others;

  1. An existing AmBank Debit card customer and has been issued with a new Visa Debit Card,
  2. The new Visa Debit Card is activated within the Campaign Period,
  3. Spend minimum of Ringgit Malaysia Ten (RM10) in single transaction within fourteen (14) days from date of Visa Debit Card activation and within the Campaign Period.
3. I'm an existing debit card customer and I had activated my Visa Debit Card before 17 July 2024. Am I eligible to participate in this campaign?
No. You’re not eligible to participate in this campaign if you Visa Debit Card is activated before 17 July 2024.
4. Is the promotion open to AmBank staff?
Yes, AmBank staff are eligible to participate in the campaign.
5. I am a new AmBank Visa Debit Card customer, am I eligible to participate?
No. The campaign is only applicable for existing AmBank Debit Card customers.
6. How will I know if I have successfully received the cashback?

You will receive a SMS when the cashback is credited into your account within 30 Days after one month of Campaign cycle.

Please take note that the winner selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. The bank reserved the right to select the winner at its discretion.

7. Am I allowed to get the RM5 cashback more than one time?
No, one customer is eligible to only receive the cashback once during the promotion period.
8. How many people stand a chance to get RM5 cashback?

There are 69,000 winners amounting to RM345,000 available throughout the campaign.
