How to bid for an auctioned vehicle?

Before Auction Day

 

  1. Download a copy of the auction flyer.

  2. Visit auctioneer website to download a copy of Proclamation of Sale of your preferred property.

  3. Once you have selected the property you wish to bid on, follow the guideline in the flyers to registered to bid and place a 10% deposit with the auctioneers/high court. Once registration is completed, you will received a notification.

During Auction Day

 

  1. The auctioneer will provide you with a login password for bidding before the auction begins.

  2. Wait for your chosen property to appear on the screen for bidding.

  3. Once it is displayed, you may proceed to bid. It is advised to bid reasonably and rationally according to your budget.

After Auction Day

 

  1. If you are a successful bidder, a Contract of Sale (COS) will be generated for you. You will need to settle the balance of the purchase price (BPP) as stated in the POS and T&C. The balance purchase price can be settle via cash or financing.

  2. Appoint your own solicitor to complete the transfer of ownership.

  3. If you are unsuccessful bidder, the deposit will be refunded within time stipulated in the Proclamation Of Sale.
