Activate Card​

1. How can I activate a card?
  • If you have AmOnline access, go to AmOnline app > scroll down to “Do More with AmOnline” > tap “Activate Card” and tap on the card you want to activate.

    Launch AmOnline app > tap “Account” at bottom menu > tap “Cards” > tap on the card you want to activate.

    Alternatively, go to AmOnline app > tap “Account” at bottom menu > tap “Cards” > tap on the card you want to activate.

  • If you are not registered for AmOnline, download the AmOnline app > tap “Activate Card”. With this seamless feature, you can activate the card and register for AmOnline at the same time.

    Note: This journey requires SMS TAC for authentication. If you did not receive SMS TAC, you are advised to call our Contact Centre to check on your TAC-registered mobile number.

2. Can I activate a supplementary credit card?​

You can only activate a Supplementary Card if you are the supplementary cardholder.

Please ensure that you have received your physical card before activating it.

3. Can I use my credit card at Retail or Online Purchase immediately after activated?
Yes, you can use the credit card immediately after activated in AmOnline.
4. I have entered the required details, but I was unable to activate my card. What should I do?
In this case, you are advised to call our Contact Centre to enquire about this issue.
5. I have successfully activated my card, but I am unable to log in despite already having an AmOnline account. What should I do now?
You may call our Contact Centre to enquire about the status of your AmOnline account.
