Buy Fund
Everyone who has AmOnline access can browse Unit Trust funds in AmOnline. When you want to buy a Unit Trust fund, you must have an active current or savings account/-i to buy the Unit Trust fund.
From 1 October 2024 onwards, the buying of unit trust fund will require AmSecure authorisation if the transaction amount exceeds RM10,000.
- You may contact your servicing Relationship Manager or Personal Banker
- You may visit the nearest AmBank branch.
- You need to have an active current or savings account/-i
- 18 years and above AND 65 years old and below.
You can buy and redeem all funds distributed by AmBank (M) Berhad except for the following:
- Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB),
- Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) funds,
- Money Market funds,
- Wholesale funds (Only available to High-Net-Worth individuals)
To transact with these funds or to know more, please visit your nearest branch or contact your servicing Relationship Manager or Personal Banker.

- At your “My Portfolio” page > tap on the fund that you are interested in > tap “Buy More”

Yes, you can. Go to AmOnline app > tap “Account” > swipe left to “Investment” > tap your individual UT account > scroll down to “My Portfolio” > tap on the fund you want to buy more/top up > tap “Buy More”.
From 1 October 2024 onwards, buy more/top up of unit trust fund will require AmSecure authorisation if the transaction amount exceeds RM10,000.
It means that you are not allowed to buy more of that fund in AmOnline.
Potential reasons below:
- You are not eligible to buy that fund anymore.
- The funds can only be bought in the Branches or via a Relationship Manager.
- The fund is not available for purchase anymore.
- Other reasons
Yes. You can cancel your transaction submitted on the day before the cut off time. The cancellation of your transaction and the refund of your purchase amount would be effective immediately.
To cancel: Go to AmOnline app > scroll down to “Recent AmOnline Transactions” > tap on the buy fund transaction > Tap “Cancel”.
You may access the Investment services on AmOnline 24/7. Your last updated account details and fund portfolio will be displayed in your account details section.
However, all transactions performed are subject to the cut-off time of 3.00 PM on a business day. Transactions performed after the cut-off time will be processed on the next business day.
