Block Card

1. What is Block Card?​
Block Card feature allows you to block card immediately if you noticed suspicious transaction on your credit card or you have lost your credit card. Your credit card will be blocked immediately after confirmation.
2. How can I block my card?
  • Go to AmOnline app > tap “Kill Switch” > select “Block Credit Card” > tap on the card you want to block.
  • Go to AmOnline app > tap “Account” > select “Cards” > tap on the card you want to block > tap “Manage” > tap “Block This Card”.
3. Will I get a replacement card after I blocked my current card?

Yes, a replacement card will be issued to you. If the mailing address displayed is not your current residential address, please call our Contact Center to get it updated.

If you wish to self-collect the credit card at the nearest AmBank branches, please call our Contact Center to have the request updated.

4. How soon can I get my replacement card?
It may take up to 1 week to be processed.
