Block Card

1. What is Block Card?​

Block Card feature allows you to block card immediately if you noticed suspicious transaction on your debit card or you have lost your debit card.  Your debit card will be blocked immediately after confirmation.  

 

2. How can I block my card?
  • Go to AmOnline app > tap “Kill Switch” > select “Block Debit or Credit Card” > tap on the card you want to block.  

  • Go to AmOnline app > tap “Account” > select “Cards” > tap on the card you want to block > tap “Manage” > tap “Block this Card”. 

  • Go to AmOnline web > click “Settings” > at “Sign-in & Security” > click “Block My Debit Card” > click on the card you want to block. 

  • Go to AmOnline web > click “Debit Cards” > click on the card you want to block > click “Settings” > click “Block this Card”.  

 

3. Will I get a replacement card after I blocked my current card?

Yes, a replacement debit card will be issued to you.

4. How can I update the mailing address for my new replacement card?

If the mailing address displayed is not your current residential address, please visit the nearest branch to update it and request a replacement for your new debit card.

5. Will I get charged for my replacement card?

Yes, a fee of RM12 will be charged to your replacement card.

6. How soon can I get my replacement card?

Your new debit card will be delivered to your current residential address within 5 working days.

7. What should I do after receiving my replacement card?

You should activate your new debit card as soon as you receive it to start using it. Refer to “Activate Card ” FAQ for details.

8. The application shows my card is blocked, but card replacement couldn’t be completed. What should I do now?

You will need to visit the nearest branch to request a replacement for your new debit card.
